CurzonTrinitas Ltd is a top level, retained Executive Search Firm working with clients across the infrastructure and energy sectors. Established 20 years ago and based on Heddon Street, just off Regent Street in Central London, the company has 13 professional staff including seven partners, consultants, and researchers as well as a Finance Manager and support staff. The firm works to identify, attract and assess senior executives for a wide range of loyal clients ranging from major, international corporations, banks and investors through to small start-ups. The firm has a fun, relaxed culture, but a total commitment to efficiency and professionalism in all that it does as well as a belief in creativity over process.
The Infrastructure Practice works on an exclusively retained basis across the sector, covering Transport, Utilities, Energy Infrastructure and PPP & Social Infrastructure markets – both greenfield and brown – on a 360 degree basis. Our job is to know everything relevant about the people who matter in our field; the professionals who invest in, advise on, finance, manage and develop the utilities, resources, transportation, energy and social assets that our clients strive to bring into being. We also recruit Advisory Boards and Chairs/NEDs for investee businesses and special purpose vehicles.
The vast majority of our work is at the most senior level – at Director level and above – although we deliberately, using the same search methodology, service our clients’ needs at more junior levels as demand dictates.
Working directly for and with the three Partners who lead the infrastructure practice, you will be responsible for the end-to-end transaction of retained mandates whilst also supporting the Partners, in a research capacity, to conduct and complete senior-level searches in the infrastructure space.
You will be an advocate for the firm in all that you do and will develop a network across the industry which will enable you to advise clients on the dynamics of the market and to set expectations and guide thought processes accordingly. From the outset you role will be client facing and you will have the full support of the Partners to forge your own relationships to develop a stream of business for the firm in due course.
You will proactively network around the market, attend industry events – conferences, dinners and the like – and rapidly become known as a leader in your field. Ultimately you will develop your own brand as a go-to advisor in the sector.
You will be a graduate and will bring at least two to three years’ experience of recruitment most likely gained in a relevant industry sector – banking, financial services or private equity. Some exposure to the infrastructure sector would be helpful but is not essential. This experience may have been gained either in a contingent or an executive search environment.
You will have a strong intellect and be able to grasp and articulate the complexities of the global infrastructure market to a broad audience – from the most senior heads of businesses through to those at the beginning of their careers – as well as understanding the nuances of candidates within the component parts of the sector – from financial services through to the corporate sector. You will be a polished presenter and communicator who is able to gain instant trust from a sophisticated and varied client base.
